Hi, my xbox was flashing red, and i tryed the towel thing, it worked for one day and then it started doing it again, so i found this video and watched exactly what u did, went out and bought everything and pulled my xbox apart and did exactly like the video and put it back together…. IT WORKS, its running the best it ever has, the only thing is the fans are running a bit faster, im from Aus, i used 5 cent coins, they aren’t brass like pennies! Thanks for making this video guys! Your XBox sadly, If you can’t get it fixed with a warranty, because new Terms of Service void your Live warranty if you play more than 8 hours and Microsoft is cheap and wants you to go out and by another XBox instead of fix yours. If you can’t fix it take it apart sell the parts, buy Playstation my experiences with that are much nicer than the XBox, no heating issues and if it shuts during the installation of an update, it will fix itself and work fine after wards.
